Today President Obama signed an Executive Order that seeks to modernize the digital system in the federal government and increase cybersecurity. The order lays the groundwork for establishing a federal privacy council within the government that will oversee the protection of the Personal Identifiable Information (PII) of federal employees, see that best practices are being adhered to, and that government data is well protected from hackers.
